Unfortunately, we are in the midst of an unprecedented gun and ammunition shortage created by decreased production and increased demand. As a result, nearly every gun and almost all ammunition is not in stock at our wholesalers’ sites. For example, at one wholesaler they list 4387 different makes and models of rifles in their catalog. However, once we click the “show in stock” button, there are only 235 makes and models in stock. That means 94.7% of their inventory is out of stock! In centerfire ammunition they list 3540 different calibers and types of ammunition. Only 108 are in stock which means 97% of their ammo supply is sold out!
Currently there are no pump action shotguns, self defense shotguns, handguns, revolvers, or semi-automatic rifles in stock anywhere. So unfortunately we cannot order those items for you. Higher end semi-automatic shotguns for hunting and an occasional bolt action rifle might be in stock at the wholesalers, but do not count on it.
So what should you do? If you need it now, you will need to start scouring the Internet for the gun to maybe be in stock at an online seller. High auction prices might be your best bet at places like GunBroker. We would be more than happy to facilitate a transfer of a firearm you can find online. You can come in and check out what we have in stock, but that will likely be all we have access to.
Once this all settles down and demand decreases and supply catches up, we can start special ordering just about anything you want and at a fair price. How long will that be? Joe Biden is not even President yet. It might not get any better anytime soon.
