As of January 1, 2026, the only Glock models that remain on the Roster of Certified Handguns are the 9mm Glock 17, 19, and 26. They can only be sold until June 30, 2026 and then they will also be removed from the Roster of Certified Handguns. Unfortunately, finding these Gen 3 Glocks in stock anywhere is highly unlikely.
What does this mean if I own a Glock? Nothing. Your lawfully purchased Glock is still legal in California. You just cannot buy one from a dealer, but must sell it out of state or buy or sell it through a Private Party Transfer.
Cashmyguns.com has a great page explaining all of this and you might want to consider them if you want to sell your Glock, though its value on the Private Party Transfer market will be inflated until the courts strike down these unconstitutional laws. When will that happen? No one knows. We do know that no one will want your $1000 Gen 3 Glock at that time, so get to it.
The good news is Gen 3 Glocks are behind the times and guns like the Springfield Armory Hellcat/Pro and Sig Sauer 365 series have been selling very well in California. We still have plenty of other models of handguns in stock, so swing by during our normal business hours and check them out.

AB 1263 and SB 704 requires that certain firearm parts and barrels may only be sold to persons at least 18 years of age which requires age verification and a notice that it is generally a crime in California to engage in specified conduct without a valid license to manufacture firearms.
What this means is effective January 1, 2026 the sale of certain gun parts, speed loaders, and other accessories must go through a licensed dealer or shippers must find a way to verify your identity and receive your acknowledgement that you received and understood the notice. Then effective July 1, 2027 all firearms barrels will undergo a background check similar to purchasing ammunition.
If you have ordered parts online and the retailer will not ship them directly to you, we will accept these shipments for $20 per completed notice. Combine your shipments and save. Please contact us if you have any questions.
